Special things happen when a child meets a horse. Trust begins to grow between the two of them on such a level only they understand. This trust becomes more than just a personal bond, but a healing power to the broken heart of a child. Their relationship can make great strides in the life of the child. Every child has the basic needs to love, to be loved, and to have a sense of belonging. Our horses help to provide that healing power when others cannot reach them.

As a not-for-profit organization, donations are the life-blood of Flying Changes of Virginia, Inc. We have been supported in the past by generous donations from various supporters. Today, however, the Flying Changes staff would like to personally request your help.

Our horses are the therapists; they perform the miracles. You can help keep them healthy, happy and in good working condition by donating today.

• For $15, you can buy one of our horses a new fly mask.
• For $20, you can purchase proper grooming supplies.
• For $35, you can feed a horse for almost three months.
• For $50, you can help purchase preventative health medications such as dewormer for one of our horses.

These are just a few examples of some of our immediate needs. Any donation will be greatly appreciated. We are always open to ideas to generate sustainable ways we can deepen our program and continue to play an integral role in the lives of our clients.
